They Don’t Know How Much I Miss Her Shirt
You don’t often see power line poles in They Don’t Know How Much I Miss Her Shirt cities (most power lines are buried underground), you only see cement poles in rural China. Who would believe that the cities in the Silicon Valley are still filled with wooden poles for power lines? That’s something only existed in my childhood memory of more than forty years ago in China.So, candles and emergency lights used to be present in every household. Now the frequency of power cuts has drastically gone down, but still, on Thursday- you cant rely on anything that needs electricity. The power may/may not go. And the power company (which is the state board) isn’t going to declare any powercuts in advance.

He spent that night, and the many They Don’t Know How Much I Miss Her Shirt nights after, coughing in pain. I don’t know for sure if something could have been done – to at least ease his pain if not treat him completely – if he had been able to get that scan, but he did not have access to the diagnosis he needed. There’s that possibility that something could have been done for him if he did, and I had a hard time letting that thought go.
