His parents prepared for him a steam bath, which is a very common home remedy. What we do is we boil a huge pot of hot water with mostly lemon, papaya, and guava leaves. When the water is boiling hot, we make the sick person sit with their head over the hot water, and we cover them with a thick blanket for several minutes at a time. This is to make sure they breathe in all that steam.
