In the afternoons we either went to the movies or retired to the beaches with picnic baskets. We were fussy, we selected a cove which was not occupied. Alas the coves are now taken by hotels. We learnt swimming from the sea. Nowadays many people do not know how to swim. The beaches not taken by the hotels are dirty. I will not return except to visit relatives. Penang food is world famous and can be obtained in most western cities.

Chinese people are polite just not as polite as Japan but still have values (most) of course there are exceptions.
